About Montana wood project
ABOUT MWP...

It is not an exaggeration to say that I have been cultivating the seeds of this company for the past 20 years. While being employed in the woodworking industry since 1995 as a cabinet maker, door maker, furniture builder and everything in between, I have slowly built a knowledge base and modest woodshop capable of creating projects that help stem the tide of an ever-growing wood collection.

It is this wood collection that is the crux of MWP. Because my formal training and employment experience included companies that primarily used reclaimed lumber, I became enamored of both the quality and character that this building material possesses. It wasn't long before I was taking some cut offs home for a project not yet conceived. Over the years I have rescued unbelievably beautiful pieces of wood that were destined to either the landfill or the burn pile but instead turned into Montana Wood Projects.

Recently the stars have aligned in a way that has allowed me to start turning this eclectic collection of antique woods into outstanding pieces of furniture and cabinetry.

Delve into the world of my rescued lumber and see how a little imagination and reverence can create a beautiful and purposeful addition to your life.

Respectfully,

Chris
